Does he have eyes so deep
that even the ocean would sink?
Does his heart skip a beat,
whenever you come up in his dream?
Does he stay a little longer
than he should be?
Does he touch your face,
like you are Picasso's painting?
Does he hold your hand,
like you're the last blessing,
that God bestowed upon us, doomed earthlings?
Does he undress you,
like a scientist,
unravelling world's greatest mystery?
Does he pack his soul,
in his backpack,
when he goes for travelling?
Does he stop in the way,
to listen to the birds chirping?
Does he know,
how lucky he is,
to call you his,
to pray to the Almighty,
and to get to listen Amen?
Does he read your eyes,
like Shiv Batalavi's book of poetry?
Does he kiss your lips,
like they are his final destiny?
Does he caress your wrinkles,
like a forger trying to learn,
God's masterpiece?
Does he hold your hand,
at the road's crossing?
Does he walk on traffic's side,
when you are walking beside him?
Did he savour it like ambrosia,
When you let him eat with you,
your half-eaten ice cream?
Does he listen to your heartbeat,
like some soothing music?
In the dark,
does he sit by your side,
And listen to your silence screaming?
Does he tell you to stop crying,
or just kisses your eyes,
while they are weeping?
Does he call your name,
like it's a hymn made in heaven?
Does he listen to your voice,
like it's an angel playing Beethoven?
Tell me,
Does he love you,
Like I did?
Coz if he does not,
I'm going to have a word with God!
