About the Poet
Viyogi Hari (1895–1988 ) was a famous Gandhian and Hindi writer. He was a leading poet of modern Brajbhasha, He was awarded Mangalaprasad Award For "Veer-Satsai". He edited many texts, compiled a collection of ancient poems and compiled the works of saints. He has also written poetry, drama, prose, essays and children's utility books. He was active in Harijan Sevak Sangh, Gandhi Smarak Nidhi and Bhoodan Movement.
