The regrets that could not have been there,
Had one had courage to remove the mask others wear,
Of the truths and lies through the chequered squares,
Stepping up or stepping down the leading stairs.
The darkness now grew abound unchecked,
Of the life that was never luminous or decked,
The songs of heart were no longer cared for,
as one one’s life turned as a monotonous chore.
Only if one said that timely and needed“no”
To all that was never one’s concern though,
Had one been that lively and merry,
And ploughed the seeds of happiness in ferry.
But now the regrets regret for their regrets
This day, the sun leaves crimson as it sets
For not living life in pursuit of something worthy,
That is nowhere but inside the seeking soul in journey.
