Let the night

prowl freely now.

Let me crawl silently

Into bed, a nest of pillows,

This day is done ,

Let me find succour

In technicolour flights of fancy,

That only the prussian blue

Of dark bestows.

So much done ,

So much half done ,

Where the compass points

To rest,

I have yet to discover.

So let me hover

Between sleep and waking ,

Between dreams and dying ,

And search for peace

In the prism of the night.
