In the back of our minds, we think or, some questions arise about a series of events that happen certainly in a very uncertain way. We wonder when, why, and how it's happening. We often think, for how long period the uncertainty will remain?

The thing is, whatever we do, the ratio of certain and uncertain events is always there. They both go hand in hand. While we may not wish to acknowledge it, uncertainty is a natural and unavoidable part of life. As the coronavirus outbreak has shown, life can change very quickly and very unpredictably. We may be anxious about when the Pandemic will end or if life will ever return to normal. Currently, we may feel that Pandemic is throwing the whole world into uncertainty, but that's not the case. This ratio was there, is there, and will be there always. It's just the time that makes us difficult to cope with it. Certainty and uncertainty are like parallel lines; they never meet but are always associated with each other. Opportunity often arises from the unexpected, and having to face uncertainty in life can also help us learn to adapt, overcome challenges, and increase our resiliency. It can help us to grow as a person.

Does anyone have a job for life, a guarantee of good health, or absolute certainty over what tomorrow will bring? The truth is no matter how much we try to plan and prepare for every possible outcome, life will find a way to surprise us. We already accept a lot of uncertainty every day. Each time we cross a street, get behind the wheel of a car, or eat restaurant food, we’re accepting a level of uncertainty. We're trusting that the traffic will stop, we won’t have an accident, and everything we're eating is safe. The chances of something unfortunate happening in these circumstances is small, so we accept the risk and move on without requiring certainty. If we're religious, we likely accept doubt and uncertainty as part of our faith, and if we aren't religious, then also we have that uncertainty. Uncertainty of accepting the way it is.

Undeniably, being optimistic is not easy especially, in current conditions, when so many events are happening ambiguously. But, we can always cope with it as we are doing this since the beginning of life. Just remember those times when we were so unsure about things, and still, here we are. So, whenever life tries to throw us into uncertainty, remember, there is always one path that leads to certainty, despite thousands of unsure ways. It's invisible but always there. We merely need to hold the torch for ourselves and others while walking on & through it. And that's how we come out of the maze of uncertainty in a certain way, every time. So, when life throws you into ambiguity, thrive on it with surety.

I'm certainly finding my way to come out of uncertain things. As it's an unending process, we all have to deal with it from time to time. So, I hope you'll find your way too.
