Earlier, Draupadi used to feel bad or demotivated when people tried to mock and insult her directly or indirectly. Back then, she acted like she can handle it and kept suffering silently. But with time, she learned and asked herself, "why am I allowing their prejudices over me?" Some egoistic people used to get offended quickly because of her bravery, strongness & firmness yet, a kind & empathetic nature. "There was a stubbornness about her that never can bear to be frightened at the will of others. Her courage used to rise at every single attempt to intimidate her. She could easily forgive others' pride if they hadn't mortified her." (The quoted line is modified from Jane Austen's famous book Pride and Prejudice)
It was Govind who helped her in "how to take good & bad, respect & disrespect, praise & insult, and many more things equally, without affecting the state of mind." He taught her to stay kind & grounded irrespective of the people's behavior. But, in the process, he did teach her how to handle things when it goes out of control so that, people shouldn't get the advantage of her balanced nature. He trained her how to fight ahead of the greatest danger valorously when the time comes. Draupadi gave her best to maintain that balance throughout her life. In today's age, lots of women know that the road is long, and the way Draupadi learned, many women learned, still learning, and will attain till their last breath. They will surely pave their path just like Draupadi did.
