HUMANITY TODAY

Raped by hunger and poverty ,

Bereft of love and affection ,

Cast by greed and anger,

Today the humanity silently sops .

     Eyes engulfed in empty blindness ,

     Structure of bones peeping out ,

     Of those thinly covered leather ,

     Today the humanity silently curse.

Chapped lips mouth all dry ,

Sweat to quench the thirsty throats ,

Humiliation and torture feed their bowels 

Today the humanity silently dies .
