May has come with all the fury
Life has, meanwhile gone awry
Lacs and lacs of people suffer
Many many died in our country.
Covid ravaged since nineteen
Old and young in their teens
Lost precious lives ,left us all
We are waiting for vaccine.
Riverbanks are full of dead
Bodies dumped and others fled
Dogs are roaming everywhere
People watch this unanswered.
Two years on its still a fight
No respite from such a plight
Joys of life nowhere to find
Don't know when we get alright.
