||poem ||  ||  You Tried  ||     ||Neela Nath Das||
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I had the spark to say yes to life
The fire which can burn the convetional hypocricy
I still have.
But,you never let me rise above your shoulder.
You stealthily snatched my every unfolded wish.
You destroyed my freedom,my longing for flying
Was forbidden in the realm of your tricky kingdom.
I lost my power to speak the truth
I remained by keeping my head down
My spirit was ow
I could not fly.
You all attacked cracking jokes on my
Complexion ,on my intelligence.
You succeeded to some extent.
But,now I got the third eye
After many years toil.
I can read now your devilish mind.
I am no longer the slave of your crookedness.
What I'm I'm
I'm a woman who can rise alone
Alone and alone.
