Reading Dust of Sadness by Faridoon Shahryar felt like stepping into an intimate conversation with the poet’s soul. As someone who appreciates poetry for its ability to distill emotions into words, I found this collection to be profoundly moving.

The book is divided into two parts: Innocence In Search of Maturity and Maturity In Search of An Escape. This structure immediately resonated with me, as it mirrors the phases of life we all go through — from the raw, unfiltered emotions of youth to the nuanced, reflective musings of adulthood.
