My age has lost it's shoes

it can't walk any further

lying in the middle of a room

totally aware of what's to happen

I'm thinking of my young parents

I remember my first bicycle,

 first friend and first school

college, teachers, results, contests

job, colleagues, promotions and fests

how fast life brought me to this end

I wonder and my heart weeps inside

I wish to meet my highschool friends

with whom I did the most stupid things

And those warm whispers of my lover

still float in my ears and stir my soul

though for time being I hate to admit

life is a temporary experience of countless emotions

Yet to my surprise I like even this fear

that I'm experiencing at the moment and

I wonder if every human being comes across

these experiences before his final departure
