I gazed at your face once, in your sleep,
You turned your back on me with ease,
Myriad hateful words first and now calm,
It's been long, living in one nest our home,
Small space, under one roof, we breathe,
Many nights, many days are passing away,
In this solitude of togetherness, I am alone,
I am sleeping too, with my eyes closed,
Not sound sleeps though, the fan on the roof,
Makes noises, with every rotation it takes,
Wishful, desiring my soul is restless,
And left my body for more than once,
It roams around on another plane,
With thy soul alongside mine, twain,
Lovers we of not this time, our souls,
Have found this body, even before this,
Birth we have lived a life, of romance,
Of courtship, of unison and fate again,
Has brought us in front of each other,
You as a man, and me as a woman,
The souls are happy there, why can't we?
We are burning in the fire of mayhem,
We are burning this birth's purpose,
I see it in my dreams; I know you do too,
Our souls meet each other at nights,
In the absolute silence of myriad breaths,
Flowing through our human avatar,
They still follow; they still romance, they,
Make love every night, when we are sleeping,
In our corporal bodies, with backs turned,
Towards each other, they show us too,
The world they go, and as we mumble,
In our sleeps, as we moan in ecstasy,
They try to teach us this, we are made,
For each other, in this birth, then why fade?
Those precious moments of love in havoc,
They chose happiness, then why can't we?
