रिश्तों का ताना बाना

ज़ुलाहा जो,

बुने रिश्ता, 

तो देता है,

वो गिरहैं भी, 

निगाहों का,

है बस धोक,

नज़र ना एक,

आती है...

जुलहा गर,

जो चाहे तो, 

गिरह देखे,

वो तानों मैं

है उसका ही,

बुना रिश्ता, 

भला उससे, 

छीपा क्या है?

जुलाहा गर,

जो चाहे तो,

नज़र में सिर्फ़,

गिरहें हो, 

जो ताना है,

बुना उसने,

तो डौंरों की,

ख़ता क्या है?

ज़ारा भर से,

जो यें टूटे,

भला गिरहें,

क्यों दोषी हों??

जुलाहे से भी,

तो तुम पूछो,

मरासिम फिर,

बुना क्या है??

In a gist, a relationship is always a two way street, the idea of the thought here is that there is absolutely no point blaming just the other person in a relationship if it fails.. if the relation can’t last no matter what the reason be.. the blame should well and equally be shared or shouldered together.. thus the statement.. “Nazar main sirf girhain ho..” and of-course the lingering question at the end - “Marasim phir buna kya hai??”
