Solitary as the nooks and crannies of this home
biding time who doesn’t care as much
watch the moments float by on lonely wings
stand in the corners, wasting away
people come go, yet you are alone
a rock washed over by the tides of time
weather beaten, chipping away into many pieces
you don’t recognise as your own
falling into the sandy depths of untold darknesses
grown over in the corals of bright colours
that delight on your blood to them sworn
for falling apart is me, I still don’t know
I still don’t know.
