The pandemic will continue to push the world to the limits. However, the crisis will end. We all must be patient, take care of each other, help the less fortunate, do our parts in fighting the virus by staying home and co-operating with the authorities.

In this pandemic, an IPS officer took the responsibility of supplying oxygen, Plasma to the hospital and he with his team - INDIA CARES is working for everything possible, which people required in this pandemic. The name of this IPS officer is Arun Bothra. After all efforts, the hospital administration finally tweeted to Arvind Kejriwal, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and the Prime Minister, saying that our hospital was not getting oxygen supply. This is hampering the treatment of 78 patients admitted. We have been calling since morning, however, our call to any helpline number is not answered. We're calling, but they're disconnecting our phone. Please share this post as much as possible.'

On April 16 last year, a group of volunteers came together to help people during the lockdown. We hoped that in a few months @indiacares_2020 will not be needed. We were wrong. Lets join hands again to help fellow citizens.' - Arun Bothra

Senior IPS officer Arun Bothra, who along with some youths in Odisha and other states had created India Cares (@indiacares_2020), a platform on Twitter to help the needy last year, is flooded with distress calls and messages from the state and outside. Volunteers from India Cares had helped thousands of people, mostly stranded migrants, with food, transport and medicines in Odisha and other states.
