Kuldip Nayar as a writer

Veteran indian journalist, author, human right activist kuldip nayar was born on 14th aug 1923 at sialkot, pakistan. he was appointed high commission to great britain in 1990 and nominated to the upper house of indian parliament just after seven years i.e. in 1997. he is generally known for his bold views on politically sensitive issues.

Kuldip Nayar as a writer:

He started to write from the time of his fearless fight for the press freedom, mainly during the period of Emergency. Nayar was also honoured with the Ramnath Goenka Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 for his contribution to journalism.

Through the medium of his writings, he clearly presented the picture of partition, bloodshed, brutality, efforts of our leaders, sacrifices of freedom fighters and a lot more.

In a way, he emerged as a courageous author who talked freely about the situation of the nation without any fear. He authored around 15 books, written in both English and Hindi.
