This content driven movie has everything which you can relate from your personal life, very detailed and properly worked out peculiarities about customs and family fabric in India make this film worth watching. Mostly roaming around the comic side, this film has the perfect blend of emotions in between. It is very rare for multi-starer films to showcase talent of each and every character, but this stands out differently. Powerful portrayal. Lastly, not to miss out the ending, impactful and emotional, leaving speechless and pondering over the value of relations in life. Amazing direction by Writer Seema Phawa. All actors did a wonderful job and the message of this film is huge and beyond your thoughts. Excellent casting, excellent acting, excellent movie. Each character is so well etched, including everything happening in the background... the small nuances. It's so beautiful to see this level of detailing!
Plot: After Ramprasad's untimely demise, his family comes together under one roof for a period of thirteen days. During this time, their insecurities and problems come to the forefront.
Ramprasad's entire family gathers at their ancestral home in Lucknow for 13 days after his death, to perform and observe the Hindu traditions and death rituals called the tehrvi. During the course, the family’s dynamics, politics, and insecurities come out, and then they realise that the importance of people and things are only evident in retrospect.
