Same date - 2020, It was the time of covid19 and lockdown, yet things are still not good but last year - same day we lost Dr DevendraNath Misra. A Mathematician went on to become a Professor of Mathematics ,Sagar University, Jt. Education Advisor, Mini of Education,Dep. Director CSIR, Head of MP Science n Technology n Vice. Chancellor BHU'. A tall man in every sense of the word.
Before Starting Kavishala whenever I approached Dr Devendra Nath Misra with my poetry or stories he responded with very genuine feedback. 'Achchi Panktiya', 'theek kahaa aapne', 'sundar panktiyaan', 'bhaavpoorna panktiyaan', 'nice story' etc words which came from respected Dr Devendra Nath Misra ji were always the inspiration behind writing. Once he reverted with very harsh feedback, but very politely. Once he said 'Hindustan ke logon ko is baat ka Nirnaya lena chaahiye ki ve aisee paristhiti naheen aane denge jis se Striyon Ko Cheetkaar Karnaa pade...'
'Lok tantra kabhee kabhee vichitra saa lagtaa hai kyoki jan-mat badee tezi se badaltaa hai. Afwaah par vishwaas jantaa bahut jaldi kartee hai...'
I'm genuinely missing him, and this was the time when I wrote my last Hindi poem in 2020. He was very regular in wishing Birthdays and festivals on social media. I always received birthday wishes with lots of love and wishes.
The loveliest, gentlest, most handsome, most affectionate, most brilliant person we have known.
