They’ll weep in the dark, walk alone,
Feel isolated, though not alone.

When asked of their state, a smile they’ll wear,
“I’m fine”, they’ll say, without a care.

Behind the facade, a heart that’s sore,
A silent battle, forevermore.

Expected to be strong, a pillar of might,
They hide their emotions deep out of sight.

Let’s celebrate men today, it’s true,
But let’s also see them through and through.

For beneath the surface, there’s a soul that yearns,
To feel connected, to feel it burns.
