We get life in the womb of the mother,
and live in the lap of mother earth,
who showers blessings on us,
and naurishes with foods and water.
We breathe air to survive,
and smell fragrance of soil,
but sow seeds of poison in her womb
and make her barren.
Clouds have deserted the sky
and rivers have stopped flowing,
we emit smokes and choke her's lung,
We have eyes and ears,
but we are blind and deaf.
The fire is raging the forest,
but we cannot feel the heat.
Bees do not sit on the flowers,
as nectar has dried.
The eyes of mother earth are moist
by the pain inflicted by her children.
Time and tide wait for none,
it's time now to wipe out her tears
and fill her laps by flowers,
present her gift of plants and trees,
garland her by rainbow.
Future generations look to us
for our devotion to mother earth,
let's not forget the famous proverb,
what we sow, so shall we reap
