I rush to the bed with tears rolling down my eyes,
Deep down in my heart ,our fading - crackling memory lies
As I walk down our memory lane,
I learn that it was the reason for my sufferance and pain .
Our one year 24 carat friendship is no longer the same
As you let it fade away with the winds and the rain.
From your exuberant smile, convulsive laughter and the sweet eye blink
To a Pan -Am one which questions on our camaraderie and pesters me to rethink
You changed to give our friendship a new lease of life ,
But it tantamounted to 'whet thy soul on the executioner's knife.
I can't build up my courage to say this to you
That I'm the only one who can truly love you
