SKIN COLOUR

Our ancestors had nonpigmented skin with body hairs

Body hairs later depleted by sweat glands

This helped humans to hunt for food in sun

Evolution is slated to have begun.

Human skin colour dark brown to light hues

Depends on environment UV radiation genetics

Earliest humans near equator had dark skin

Migration to cold areas in North led to light skin.

Women lighter than men generally

Europe ladies darker than men mainly

That makes them absorb D Vitamin

To ease their labour pain.

Melanin induces skin colour

Palm and sole have shade lighter

Skin also gets tanned in sun light

Basically skin colour is genetic.
