I have crossed seventy two years actually
For men that's more than life expectancy
All the years that I live from now
Is really a bonus somehow.
Not that I am free from health issues
I have to live with these spasms
Medical treatment is so progressive
Now everything is minimally invasive.
Now that I am here to recall
I wish to be in touch with you all
I like to know what's happening
How the world is reacting.
I am curious to see new technologies
What all they can do in our lives
How much more benefits we can get
To do all acts in a flip of a moment.
It's nice to see children grandchildren
Achieve higher goals in their mission
My genes getting transferred
To whatever extent that mattered.
Apps and video games they access
Or laptops for home assignments
Their lives center around mobile
But I still follow my old lifestyle.
I am on a reading and writing spree
I don't know if my folks like to see
I also watch films serials shows on TV
That's to pass time for a small fee.
I don't travel much like some
I spend all my time at home
I have a daily routine that I follow
Meditation self healing my motto.
Walking for half hour is a must
I collect my thoughts to entrust
I decide my plan of action for sure
That determines my activity schedule.
I am curious to see how we survive
In this global warming drive
And air pollution and water shortages
Also AI ingress in our daily lives.
