World has changed in many ways
Elders not in sync unable to keep pace
Most fixtures are smart devices
Operated with Apps and remotes
Be they LED lights, ACs, TVs or fans
All require Apps downloaded on cells
The OTT movies are based on story
That deal with ghost, sex or adultery
Of late political climate has weakened
No zeal to watch or read news printed
Most restaurants have exotic dishes
Drawn from various cuisines
Eating out is a fad with youngsters
It invariably upsets our stomachs
Vehicles are also fitted with console
We aren't familiar to know its full role
Highways circuitous with toll gates
Unable to spot signages for drives
Air is contaminated with pollution
Going out infuses viral infection
Laptop's memory space is getting full
It becomes as slow as our schedule
Smart phone is integral to one's life
We aren't as smart as their drive
In this tech driven life elders whine
They don't know how to pass time
How else can we pass our time that's ethnic
Other than watching epics or listening to music.
