We never question
a poor man
struggling to get
one meal a day
for his family,
why he did not
send his children
to school!
That he kept
his family
together, alive,
to fight
another day,
would be counted
as one of his
successes.
Similar,
is the case
with Govts
of the past.
None took
any major
‘wrong decisions' then.
Leading to sufferings of now!
Perhaps, remiss
in not taking
‘right decisions’ in time.
But most did
a tremendous job.
Kept our polity undivided.
"One entity. One nation."
Not merely a slogan, that!
Laid a foundation
for later Govts
to build upon.
Whether we build
upon these, or not,
depends not on
Prime Ministers past.
But the present!
We cannot
keep complaining
about our
current situation,
blaming it all
on the shortcomings
of our ancestors.
Or predecessors!
ASK NOT THE DEAD.
ASK OURSELVES:
WHAT DID WE DO?
WITH THE OPPORTUNITIES?
WITH THE CHALLENGES?
LET'S STOP BLAMING
THE PAST.
LET'S DO SOMETHING
NOW!
The right things, PLEASE!
