Give me a paper and I’ll write my thoughts,
Innumerable and unsaid to all.
Give me some time to speak my feelings,
Those subdued and never revealing.
Give me some trust to accept the fact,
People are not always selfish and I can interact.
Show me a heart that still cares for all,
No matter whether they are big or small.
Give me what I never possessed,
Things that can't be purchased,
Not those whose value can be realised,
But give me what money can't define.
Which costs nothing but looks so better,
Than those from which society derives pleasure.
A little love and care that uplifts,
A hand to hold and watch sunsets,
Give things whose value never declines,
Rather increases overtime.
I need not what others describe,
A specific stuff or luxuries of life,
What I desire is very simple and divine,
Just a friend for lifetime.
These are things I wish to gain,
And never want to lose and bear the pain,
I have been awaiting for this fine day,
When one of these things will come and stay.
A lot of time I spent alone,
Waiting for that one perfect soul,
A friend alike who can console,
And listen to me and walk me home.
A friend who would just never be bored,
Talking about my unpopular folks,
Whose heart will be precious than gold,
And one who'll be rare and has stories untold.
Give me that what changes my believe,
For a world that comprises of selfish human beings,
For those friends who value others more than me.
Give me a day and I’ll pen down more,
Everything accumulated and stored,
All I need is a little hope,
That everything shattered will be restored.
