All day and night long, I only seem to yawn and yawn,

Seems the rat race I am part of, is taxing my energy gone.

The deadlines seem to fly past like a freaking jet,

Juggling me in dangerously in assignment debt.

I feel like the calm in the storm, yet very much amid the storm,

All I do, think and say all day, is clearly, completely out of form.

Red circles on my to-do list, and dark circles around my eyes,

Are robbing me of peace and ability to think and do wise.

I am surfing on a high tide, with my body stiff to the waves,

Might not hold long against the online classes myself braves.

I jump into the little 'peace' land in my mind,

But the present has intruded it and simply get behind!

I sometimes feel like a villain to my very uncertain future,

Mornings begin with vexedness, a feeling, very immature.

This treatment is all good for me, but I need a break and no break,

All my futile efforts are in one sentence,

When I say every night, 'to a better morning will I wake'.
