I stand facing the busy country's horizon,
Mesmerized at everything that's on the run.
I blow the fallen hair from my eye lash,
I feel it fly, disappear, and pall in a flash.
Deep within, I wish it would travel the farness,
Carrying with it, all my wary passions to confess.
I am not dismayed that the words will be unspoken,
Yet, each moment I wait, equally by reality awoken.
I see your smile in the depths of my eye's sparkle,
As the heft of time and silence, stares like a shackle.
I wish not for a fairytale or a marvel,
But for lifelong, a fulfilling dream to dwell.
The story that has no candor today,
I am sure it will not turn too cliché.
The elysian that I have created with trust,
Is pure and real, without a speck of any dust.
I fret not at the illusion I dwell upon,
But I will surely live it for real, before it is all gone.
