A beautiful fragrance wafted with the breeze,
Jasmines of the summer, fallen on the soil,
Into a peaceful paradise, did I simply freeze,
This was a moment with nature, to not at all spoil.
Arms stretched out on the topmost stair,
I spread out my wings to nature's pure charm,
I could see the steps I had climbed fair,
Feet firm down, I felt a very tranquil calm.
Each step was an ascent to where I stood now,
I could see them strewn, with a lot of things,
Each that held a story, pain, smile, and a vow,
With a sigh, I smile, at the happiness it brings.
I saw people I knew, at each step over time,
Each known to me at that particular step,
Dialogue with them, to me always prime,
For they are mine, my ascent's vital prep.
I saw them, who always repelled from my stair,
Who skipped far from me, yet stayed so close,
A thousand words did I hear from their stare,
Powerfully and novelly did they make me engross.
I saw the little dirty stains of blood and sweat and tears,
Majestically cruising in the skies, I giggled at them now!
The realization, they built my steads, pleased my ears.
To all those steps I climbed, I thank with a deep bow.
To my flight, I thank my wings,
I thank those stairs and those people,
Like the fragrance and the nose,
Like the rain and the soil,
Like the green of the plants to the blue of the sky,
Like the gaze of the Eagle to its unsuspected prey,
Is the love, I have to the stairs.
This is the staircase of life,
That always moves up,
Builds you, never slips you down.
Remember them......
