I sat back and gazed out from the broken window,
Smiled at my tree, standing there with a lovely glow.
The sky looked like a chat between dark clouds and the sun,
My tree o'er there, calm and majestic, was waving with fun.
With a swirly wave, my buddy, the tree called me out,
I raced out in a flash, to see what was it all about.
An icy wind then fluttered my heart,
A lovely bliss pricked me like a dart.
A sweet little shower joyed at my appearance,
The smell of the soil, to this joy, was in consonance.
This feeling is really the most wonderful of all,
A time with my friends, a moment to enthrall.
I was tapped on my shoulder amid this trance,
I turned back to see a face, that made me do a little dance.
A pair of glistening eyes, and a lovely smile so wide,
A tight hug then followed, warm and full of pride.
This was a moment, that was no heaven apart,
Nature creation, of perfect and flawless art.
Like many great things take a great time,
This moment too had awaited us all prime.
The wait and the hope, that it had with it,
Is a thrill by itself, and here, a perfect fit.
The respect and the admiration that grew in this wait,
Was the ingredient of trust, that we did create.
A sudden cough of the skies, a thunder, jolted me out of my dream,
And I was just standing in the rain, with my imagination on an extreme.
I chuckled at my stupid little fantasy,
A moment of a really desired ecstacy.
The sky crackled again at my blushing face,
As I tried to calm my heart's racing pace.
I now smiled even broader at this nature's play,
A good prank and to the reality a bad betray.
I realized that this wait is really ceaseless,
But life is still very adventurous, regardless!
I went back to my seat with a hot cup of tea,
Back to wordless chats, with my lovely tree.
