The eerie dark room was disturbed by a little noise.

A little light startled the nocturnal bugs' ploys.

A pair of drooped shoulders scoured for a snack,

Atop the table with a bowl and a tired bent back,

The sad little soul hungrily slurped,

A peace it was, not to be usurped.

Like sweet rainfall on the parched ground,

This hurried meal did some life resound.

As temporary as it was, did it come to an end,

With a sigh of relief did it some peace rend.

Back to the cozy corner of her room, the girl,

Into the hurricane of thoughts did she whirl.

Stricken with many self-doubts and fears,

Over thinking had just driven her to tears.

She did not know in the least what was bothering her,

Many things in her mind were just a blur.

The answers she searched within had no questions at all,

Her sleep and rest had deserted her after a brawl.

Like everything else this phase will end soon,

With time and experience will she become immune.

The girl will not stand strong without falling down,

Don't feel bad for her,

One day she would have surely grown.
