All still, but for the hands of the clock,
All scurry, but for the will of the mind,
The beating heart dances to its tunes,
Life just goes on in its normal way.
The sky that I see plain and blue,
Rocking in this desolate boat,
Out in an endless ocean, all alone,
Going with the waves and nothing more.
Nothing seems heavy than empty worry,
Water tasting weird in every gulp and sip,
Fingers dancing on the same spots hard,
Music exiting attention in less than a trice.
The most beautiful colours seem dull,
Excited heart bound by jejune ties,
The thump is no longer a juicy jig,
Need to shake off the ghost on my back.
