The old adage says that 'Old Habits Die Hard',
What die harder are BAD HABITS, the retard.
They haunt you and stick around,
Often, drive you crazy and get you drowned.
Many and varied for each and every soul,
These often turn good opportunities foul.
Getting rid of them is a lesson of life,
Leaves you better with much little strife.
Like how, the only determination of a stranded soul is to find a shore,
To kill the vile, the resolve to do so, should be the first and foremost chore.
The next step would work if the resolve were strong,
After all, a tower on loose ground won't stand a song.
Rome was not built in a day, and so not will this,
Step-by-step you must vanquish and dismiss.
To master the mind is a battle of the brave,
To sustain and surpass and inspire till the grave.
With hard work and perseverance, anything we can gain,
There is no fun in the journey life, without a bit of pain.
