My feet were tapping in a frenzy.
Time didn't seem to move ahead.
The elevators ahead were roving.
Mortals scampered to and fro.
The top of the elevator was clear.
Everything around was simply blurred.
I was growing greatly impatient.
When was this awaited arrival to end?
My throat felt very dry and parched.
Coldwater ran through my throat.
I stretched my arms and sighed.
Time was moving at a snail's pace.
I could drop just down tired now.
I rubbed my eyes and looked on.
Still, the time had not yet come.
A voice whispered from behind.
"Whom are you waiting for, sweet?"
I looked behind to see my heaven.
The tall big, and regal human being.
A bag swinging on either hand.
One straight up on the back.
The smile was wide and bright.
The cheeks and nose were red.
The mustache was as delighted.
Bags dropped and arms spread wide.
Heaven engulfed me in a whole.
My ears were placed on the heart.
Heartbeats were warm and allay.
In arms strong and a firm grip.
Felt like a child in a mother's embrace.
We broke from this lovely trance.
Eyes glistened with happy tears.
Big drops trickled down the face.
Evaporated down the red cheeks.
All the dreary wait was forgotten.
The surroundings still blurred.
Could not care less now!
The patience had grown a sweet fruit.
The energy was back like a jet.
There was no tiredness now.
I was flying without wings.
Felt like a misty mountain and a little fire.
Felt like a bungee jump into clouds.
Felt like a skydive from the heights.
Felt the best of the best.
Could wait a hundred years for this.
The joy in a company is joy immense.
A little wait, a little miff, a little stress.
But all that, beautiful, majestic, and bliss.
This is life, change and wait.
Tears sad and tears very joy.
Red with anger, and red with joy.
Tired and dull, and happy and piqued.
All are a part of life.
Sweet and sour, bitter and hot.
But best it is, and best will it be!
