She walked on the street
With the popped heart
And a fear of those eyes
Who are ready to hunt her soul
She wore a smile on her lips
And carried pain and suffering
Under her skin, miles of skin
Which is soft, smooth and easily scarred
How long before she lost for good
She kept swallowing what she thought was air
But she found herself suffocated
Everyone smiling and talking
But how you can be happy when
she’s yelling inside
She wanted to take a jump on that cliff
But she can’t. She lost herself
Because of a monster who wears human skin,
She can’t recognize them
She feels absolutely nothing,
Freeze like ice, hard as stone,
She gave a chance to life, but life let her down.
