श्रेयान्स्वधर्मो विगुणः परधर्मात्स्वनुष्ठितात् । स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयः परधर्मो भयावहः ॥ ३-३५॥
śreyānsvadharmo viguṇaḥ paradharmātsvanuṣṭhitāt svadharme nidhanaṃ śreyaḥ paradharmo bhayāvahaḥ
