Black and White
the difference has always been this wide,
some of us already ashamed and hide.
It's not always about race,
rather about the shade,
knowing fully that you are not to blame,
but that's the secret game.
Constant reminder that,
dark is dirty
black is not beauty
Overshadowed all my aspirations for the longest time.
Many a times, it felt like there's too much to handle
Surprisingly, to my rescue came a glass of wine.
The creator did not differentiate
and clubbed all of us together
No wonder how long the bias will thrive,
May be forever.
